چکیده

In recent years, with the development of Internet, social networking, online banking, e-commerce and other network applications are growing rapidly. At same time, all kinds malicious web pages constantly emerging. Under new situation, security threats distributed, large-scale complex. New attack modes With more diverse devices access to our life is intelligent convenient, but also brings loopholes hidden dangers. Some through a variety means lure users open URL links conduct behavior. However, if we can detect page identify page, avoid problems content variability behavior tracking. Therefore, traffic analysis based on various deep convolution model generation algorithms arises at historic moment, becomes an important research issue in field Internet security.

Detecting Bot Networks Based On HTTP And TLS Traffic Analysis

Abstract— Bot networks are a serious threat to cyber security, whose destructive behavior affects network performance directly. Detecting of infected HTTP communications is a big challenge because infected HTTP connections are clearly merged with other types of HTTP traffic. Cybercriminals prefer to use the web as a communication environment to launch application layer attacks and secretly enga...

MMPP-based HTTP traffic generation with multiple emulated sources

In this article we propose a new tool, named Raw Packet Sender (RPS), for testing the performance of WWW servers. Our solution allows for testing with arbitrary number of source IP addresses although the traffic originates from only one physical NIC. In order to better mimic the real life environment we implemented an HTTP session interarrival time generator based on Markov Modulated Poisson Pr...

An Empirical Model of HTTP Network Traffic

Bruce A. Mah [email protected] The Tenet Group Computer Science Division University of California at Berkeley Berkeley, CA 94720-1776 The workload of the global Internet is dominated by the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), an application protocol used by World Wide Web clients and servers. Simulation studies of IP networks will require a model of the traSJic putterns of the World Wide Web...

Kneecap: model-based generation and analysis of network traffic

Current research in networking emphasises the importance of flexibility in the tooling and configuration of networks. Traffic generation and analysis is an essential part of network configuration and debugging, but the tooling is not satisfactorily flexible in what it allows users to express. We describe a new design for network traffic tools, one that affords users more expressiveness to descr...

Kneecap: Model-based Generation of Network Traffic

Packet generation is an important activity for network administration and security. Tools for packet generation work through template instantiation and are used in an imperative programming style. We describe a new design for a declarative packet generator that affords users rich expressiveness to describe the packets they wish to generate. This relies on a domain-specific language for describi...
